A fest to celebrate and appreciate the fierce corpses of MDZS/CQL!
Primarily focused on Wen Ning, Song Lan, and Nie Mingjue; other Fierce Corpses are welcome!

Rules

-This is an 18+ event/twitter
-Submissions should use the hashtag #fiercecorpsefest2022 and tag us @FierceCorpses
-An Ao3 Collection will be made and announced later, but you are not required to submit to it
-All ships, dynamics, and gen are welcome
-All ratings are welcome
-However, ships including underage characters in a sexual context are not allowed (aged up is accepted)
-Fic, art, gifs, playlists, and other media are all welcome, as long as it is your own work
-Event communication will be through twitter, google forms, and email ([email protected])
-Hate/bashing/harrassment will not be tolerated
-Be mindful of tags!
-Ao3 style content warnings must be used (which include Major Character Death, Underage (not allowed in this event), Rape/Non-Con, Graphic Depictions of Violence)
-You must also tw or cw the following: incest, gender swaps, gore, cannibalism, mpreg, and necrophilia (as needed)(not every piece featuring a fierce corpse needs to be tagged with necro but use your best judgement based on your specific content)
(the tw/cw things are allowed, they just need to be tagged so that people can curate and filter as needed. Please properly tag your Ao3 submissions as well!)
-NSFW content should use a sensitive filter on twitter
-Works must contain at least one fierce corpse!

-What adaptations can we base our submissions on?
All adaptations are accepted!-Are AUs allowed?
Yes!-How do we sign up?
No sign ups are required, just post your submissions during the posting period and use the hashtag and/or tag the twitter page so your submissions will be promoted!-Can I publish my fic to the Ao3 collection before the posting period?
You may, however the collection will remain unrevealed until the first day of the posting week, and then all submissions in the collection will go live on Day 1 regardless of which prompts they fill. But this is very much ok to do! (the Ao3 collection will be made after prompts are announced)-I don't have time to do this right now, but I want to participate, can I post later?
Absolutely! Just please tag the twitter account or DM your submission to us directly so that we can find and retweet it-Do we need to publish all at once if we have a multi-chaptered fic?
Nope!-Does our fic have to stand alone or can it be part of an existing series?
Either is fine-Do I really need to be 18+?
Yes, sorry, no exceptions to this rule-Are there minimum fic or art requirements?
Nope!-Are threadfics allowed?
Absolutely! We will retweet the first tweet of the thread for you. Please make sure you tag things as needed! Your threadfics/tweet fics may be short! 3-4 tweets is completely fine!-Where do we post art?
Twitter or Ao3-Can we cross-post with other events?
Absolutely! If your other event happens to be before the posting of this one, just add a reply to your original tweet tagging the fest and we will retweet it. And if your event takes place afterwards, just tag us like you would a late submission-Can I make crossovers with other fandoms/characters?
Other fandoms/characters are not accepted, but you may set your content in an AU based in other fandoms-I want to write about other characters being fierce corpses instead of Wen Ning, Song Lan, or Nie Mingjue

Sure! Just make sure you tag anything that needs a warning!-I only make fluffy content, is that ok?

That's ok! We will be having a TBT to celebrate older works!-Can we share our WIPs?
Yes! There is no need for secrecy in this event, so this is perfectly fine! If you use the hashtag or tag us directly we will retweet and promo your WIPs!-I have another question that isn't here!
Ok! There will be a google form for anonymous questions linked on the twitter page, you can send us an email, or you can reply to a tweet and we'll get back to you within a day or two!-What is the level of commitment to this fest? Can I back out if I need to?
No commitment! No minimums or sign-ups, no penalties for dropping out, just a prompt week!-Can I make content about someone other than WN, SL, or NMJ?
Yes! As long as someone is a Fierce Corpse!-Will I have to fill all of the prompts on a certain day?
No! You can pick and choose, mix and match, do one single prompt, or ignore them all entirely. You can post on any day that week and late submissions are very welcome-Is this only for fics?
No! Fics, art, gif sets, playlists, etc are all accepted as long as it is your own work!-Will there be an Ao3 collection for this fest?
Yes! It is not required to submit your content to the collection, but it will be available and it is encouraged to do so!-Can I turn someone into a Fierce Corpse? Someone that is not dead canonically?
Yes! Day 3 has a prompt "Bringing back another character as a Fierce Corpse" and this does not have to apply to a character that has died in the canon! (you can also post on/with other days/prompts) Want to see JC or NHS or LWJ as a Fierce Corpse? You do you! We'd love to see what you come up with!
